The Valdosta-Lowndes Co. Conference Center & Tourism Authority increases the economic strength of Lowndes County and the cities of Valdosta, Lake Park, Hahira, Remerton and Dasher by promoting the area as a choice destination.
The VLCCCTA is led by 10 board members – five appointed by the City of Valdosta and five appointed by Lowndes County – and a President & CEO. Board directors include a City Council member, a County Commissioner, two employed in the lodging industry, two employed in a tourism-related business besides lodging, two at-large and City and County Managers or their proxies. Directors serve 3-year terms. Directors are responsible for hiring the Executive Director, who manages day-to-day operations of the organization.

Conference Center Concierge (Part Time)
Conference Center Concierge acts as the first point of contact for potential customers, clients and visitors. Duties include, but are not limited to, act as liaison between facility management, sales team and clients. This position requires individuals with a high attention to detail, a strong dedication to customer service and a positive and friendly attitude.
Conference Center Event Operations Associates (Part Time)
Conference Center Event Operations Associate requires physical demands such as heavy lifting and frequent standing, bending and walking. Duties include, but are not limited to, setting up/breaking down tables, chairs and event staging and facility maintenance duties.
Conference Center Banquet Servers (Part Time)
Conference Center Banquet Servers are capable of working in a fast-paced and team-friendly environment. They engage with guests throughout their meal to ensure everything is satisfactory. Duties include delivering food to guests, refilling beverages as needed and assisting with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area. Banquet Servers should maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices and provide exceptional customer service.
