Looking for a meeting space that will make attendees stop and stare? We compiled a list of the most “wow-worthy” venues in Lowndes County. Choose one of these rooms with a view to take your event to the next level!
Wild Adventures Theme Park: Attendees will never forget a meeting at Wild Adventures Theme Park. It offers fun and unique meetings spaces for groups of all sizes. The Clubhouse is a private, air-conditioned venue that seats 175 guests and offers buffet and other catering options. The Clubhouse is at the main entrance near the new Discovery Outpost area, featuring immersive experiences with American Alligators. Feed gators, hold gators and cross into their world on the Gator Bridge! Sign up for private animal meet-and-greets or hop on a coaster to get a birds-eye-view of South Georgia wetlands. Every event is memorable and convenient as the Park provides audiovisual equipment for presentations and other accommodations.
The Crescent at Valdosta Garden Center: Stroll through rows of roses and sweeping oaks as you approach our second venue, The Crescent. This Neoclassical home was built in 1900 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The centerpiece of this three-story fortress is its monumental two-story, semi-circular portico. Today, the Crescent provides an elegant venue for weddings, family reunions, business meetings and other special events in a historical setting. The large Reception Hall surrounded by pristine floral gardens makes for a stunning meeting space.
Rainwater Conference Center: Our third venue with a view overlooks Lake Louie, a beautiful South Georgia Cypress pond surrounded by gardens and benches for relaxing. The boasts more than amazing scenery. Abundant and flexible meeting suites, including a pre-function area and a Grand Hall, provide more than 11,000 square feet for a variety of events. Additionally, seven break-out rooms and two boardrooms can be combined to meet extensive meeting capabilities. The Center offers meeting planners a one-stop-shop for planning events, trade shows or conferences in a tranquil environment.
Highgrove Farm: Once you enter the gate and drive down a lighted, tree-lined lane to The Pond House, you will understand the magic of Highgrove Farm. The Farm has a personality of its own with crisp soft white exteriors, natural wood tones, vaulted ceilings, antique furnishings, porch swings and rockers that truly depict Southern hospitality. Every window offers sweeping views of the surrounding torch-lit pond and pecan orchard. Recently, Highgrove Farm has become a popular wedding venue and gathering place for birthdays, anniversaries and meetings. We recommend booking the 1,200 square foot glass solarium, a climate-controlled room containing vaulted ceilings with fans and chandelier lighting in each section. The wall-to wall windows offer a spectacular view of surrounding nature.
Quail Branch Lodge: Nestled in the pines is one of South Georgia’s best kept secrets - Quail Branch Lodge. As you enter the massive lodge, you will feel like you have entered true Southern Bliss. Quail Branch offers unique opportunities for teamwork building across 600 acres of woodlands or in 14,000 square feet of interior space. Allow your creative juices to flow with a memorable outing to this facility.
